Travel Challenge on my Doorstep

On July 8, 2018, I recieved a package on my doorstep. My friend had sent a surprise birthday present and it was a national parks passport book.

I already had a habit of taking spontaneous trips around the city of Boston or throughout Massachusetts. I loved discovering parks, small coffee shops, and bookstores. Anytime I had a three-day weekend, it meant it was the perfect time to drive out through back roads and experience something new. Now, I could use the book to help guide me where to go.

The first thing I did was bike into downtown and get all the stamps from the sites around Boston that I had already visited. I then took time to visit the sites close to Boston that I hadn’t seen yet. I quickly zoomed through the new england states and it’s time to stretch out to the rest of the country. Although full-time work and ongoing education does not make traveling easy to do, I say let the challenge begin!

Here are collections of my travels, my impressions, my reflections and my silly stories. I hope you find as much enjoyment seeing pictures and reading stories of my travels and hope you take the time to see these sights for yourself. Happy travels!
